"Crowned in Ergoline" is SIGNAL DECAY'S meditation on protection and panic at the verge of lockdown, from a garage in southern Illinois.

The raw flows were charged with the circumstances of their creation, and the chasm of the open improvisation took on aspects of the larger moment.

Alarms, chopped emergency transmissions, NOISE amid degrading tape and freeblown horn swiming in dread drones that give way to something other. Anti-Guitar and desolate drum machine isolation.

Final minutes a glimpse of peace; after the end.

ERGOLINE is a variation on Ergot, the substance that caused mass hallucinations in the dark ages.
