ROCK ISLAND TRAUMA CLUB is the product of a freewheeling session at legendary Quad Cities Freak Outpost Future Apple Tree Studios, by legendary Quad Cities Freaks Blue Movies.
The jams have been cooked down to 20 minutes pure self described FUCK JAZZ: Harsh noise and Sax squall sent careening by doomed out bass riffs, framed by strangled vocals.
Blue Movies is an open project of Bryant Eiting, a luminary of outsider scenes in the Quad Cities. Each iteration of Blue Movies seems to be deeply informed by the collaborators, and this instance has powerful input from journeyman bassist Blind Hugo - a stalwart of local extreme metal and weirdo circles.
The editing of MIDWASTE Selector Howard Steeley (P'tah) and mastering expertise of Angel Marcloid (Fire Toolz) imbue the tape with all that trangressive feeling of a new noise classic. For the heads.
